In 17th century Ireland when a man fell in love with a woman, he crafted a goblet for her. The gift was lovingly carved with 2 captive rings, all from a single piece of wood. These 2 rings symbolised love and unity. At their wedding feast they both drank from the goblet and thereafter kept it in a safe place. For so long as the rings remained unbroken, they would love each other forever.
Handcrafted 925 Sterling Silver & an Irish Ash tree that lived in Co. Galway since c. 1945.
Along with bride & groom’s names and date of wedding, a free gift message can also be engraved underneath the piece. This is inscribed in the beautiful old Gaelic font ‘Bunchló’.
Size: 220mm high x 90mm round.
Each goblet is made-to-order & 100% unique. Please order at least 4 weeks in advance of the couple’s wedding to ensure enough time for delivery.
